Hypothermia

Hypothermia occurs when the core body temperature falls below 35°C.

Early signs of hypothermia include:

  • Coldness and shivering
  • Tiredness
  • Slurred speech
  • Loss of coordination, stumbling and clumsiness
  • Anxiety, irritability and irrational behaviour
