2.2 Basic Radio Wave Propagation
Propagation refers to the way something, like radio waves, light, and sound, travels or spreads through a medium, like the atmosphere.
It's how those waves move from one place to another.
2.2.2 Describe the basic characteristics of High Frequency (HF) and Very High Frequency (VHF) in terms of:
(a) range;
HF waves
- have a longer range compared to VHF waves.
- They can travel longer distances by bouncing off the ionosphere, allowing communication over vast areas.
