Effect of Wind
- A headwind or a tailwind will not affect the aircraft's Indicated Airspeed (IAS) which is controlled by the pilot. But it will affect the ground speed of the aircraft.
- With a constant IAS, a headwind will reduce the ground speed and a tailwind will increase it.
