91.305 Fuel requirements for flight under VFR
A pilot-in-command must not start a VFR flight unless, using the forecast weather conditions, the aircraft has enough fuel to:
- fly to the first intended landing point at the planned normal cruising speed; and
- still have the required fuel reserve after arrival.
