Ageing
The effects of the normal process of human ageing on vision
As humans age, there are several changes that can affect vision.
Here are some common age-related vision changes:
1. Visual Acuity:
Visual acuity can decline with age, leading to difficulties in seeing fine details or objects clearly.
This decline in sharpness of vision can be due to changes in the structure of the eye, such as the lens becoming less flexible or the cornea losing its clarity.
2. Ability to Focus on Moving Objects:
As people age, the ability to focus on moving objects may decrease.
This can be related to changes in the eye muscles and the brain's processing of visual information.
